Gabriella is the Co-Founder and President of the Y.E.P. organization. Her academic interests include democratic backsliding, comparative democratization, political polarization, and political philosophy (from the Greek classics to contemporary critical race theory). Outside of Y.E.P., she has toured the U.S. as a rock band vocalist and has recorded and released music with a multi–Grammy Award–winning producer. Gabriella also never misses an opportunity to nerd out in discussion about her favorite books—especially anything by Toni Morrison, because, of course, Sula is the best fictional book of all time!!!
